Aberdeen teen killed while fleeing State Patrol

Crash in Elma happened shortly after midnight Friday morning.

A 19-year-old Aberdeen woman was killed early Friday in a crash near Elma while fleeing from the Washington State Patrol, a release from the Patrol states. 

The vehicle the woman was driving attempted to flee from a WSP unit “with emergency equipment activated,” the release states.

The State Patrol identified the woman as Jaiden Angel Good.

A trooper chased the vehicle for five miles before the vehicle went off the roadway to the left and rolled several times as it neared Elma westbound on State Route 8. The driver was attempting to change lanes to go around a chip truck, the release states.

The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle. She died at the scene.
