Aberdeen police nab burglary suspect, seeking another
Aberdeen Police arrested a burglary suspect early Thursday morning after an officer noticed a broken window at a commercial business on the east end of town, according to a statement by Commander Dale Green.
Officer Shawn Lock was on patrol in the east end of Aberdeen conducting business checks when he discovered the broken window, and other officers were called in to assist in the investigation.
“An employee of the business was able to recover surveillance video and still photos of the incident and shared it with the officers,” said Green. Two hours later, an officer located one of the suspects walking in the east part of town, and the 42-year-old transient was arrested on probable cause for second-degree burglary.
“The second suspect is an Aberdeen transient and is known to Aberdeen officers and we are attempting to locate him,” said Green.
