    STEPHANIE MORTON                                A Coast Guard helicopter hovers over the scene of a boating accident on the Grand Canal in Ocean Shores Wednesday afternoon. According to Ocean Shores Police, a 27-year old Bonney Lake man fell from his boat and was unable to swim and was not wearing a life vest. A search in the area of Browns Point Road and Tonquin Avenue Southwest failed to turn up the man, who is presumed drowned. A dive team from Thurston County will arrive Saturday morning to attempt to recover the body. A 12-year old boy in a separate boat also went into the water but reportedly escaped without injury.

All five occupants of the home, located just south of the Central Park fire station, were able to escape unharmed, according to Fire Chief Leonard Johnson, who was still on the scene with several other personnel mopping up around 9 a.m.
