Harbor Regional Health announced the arrival of its first baby of the new year. Oliver, a healthy baby boy, was born on Jan. 3, to proud parents Katelyn Currie and Bryce Hammond.

Weighing in at 7 pounds, 7.4 ounces, and measuring 20.5 inches in length, Oliver made his grand entrance into the world to the delight of his parents and the Harbor Regional Health Family Birth Center team. The couple, from Aberdeen, shared their joy with hospital staff as they celebrated the start of a new year with their beautiful son.

In keeping with tradition, Oliver’s family received a special gift to mark the occasion — a gift basket overflowing with thoughtful items, including handmade quilts from two of our dedicated staff members. The basket is a symbol of the community’s warmth and support for new parents and their growing families.

The hospital extends its heartfelt congratulations to Katelyn, Bryce, and baby Oliver.

“We are honored to be part of this special moment in their lives, and we wish the family all the best as they begin this new chapter.,” the hospital stated.
