A Hoquiam man died after he was seriously injured in a two-vehicle, head-on crash on State Route 101 Aug. 7, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The State Patrol on Tuesday identified the victim as 76-year-old David Demaray.
A State Patrol report said a vehicle driven by a 35-year-old Raymond man was northbound on State Route 101 at the State Route 107 intersection the evening of Aug. 7 when he lost traction on the wet roadway.
The Raymond driver over corrected, according to the State Patrol, and entered the southbound lane, striking Demaray’s vehicle head-on.
Demaray was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. He died Sept. 14.
The State Patrol report indicated any charges against the Raymond driver are still pending.
