A teen was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after being seriously injured in a crash on state Route 6 outside of Raymond. The incident happened on Saturday, May 9 at about 5:24 a.m.
According to the Washington State Patrol, Martin Leontrejo, 18, of Raymond, was traveling eastbound on SR 6 at milepost 4 in a 2012 Volvo S60. He reportedly “failed to negotiate a curve to the left.”
Leontrejo’s vehicle lost control, went off the roadway, hit an embankment and rolled. The vehicle reportedly came to a rest with its wheels up in the eastbound ditch. He was extricated from the vehicle and then airlifted in serious condition.
The WSP is investigating the crash and has preliminary ruled it as driving under the influence, wheels off the roadway and speeds too fast for conditions. Leontrejo is expected to face one count of driving under the influence.
There is no update on his condition. No other details were available at the time of reporting.
