The Museum of the North Beach will be hosting its third annual Heritage Fair on Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Ocean Shores Convention Center.

This year’s “Celebration of Life, Art and History” highlights the life of prolific journalist and storyteller Gene Woodwick, who died in May at age 77. She was instrumental in the creation of the Coastal Interpretive Center in Ocean Shores. Many of her personal items and photographs will be on display.

Dann Sears from the Aberdeen Museum of History will be the guest speaker.

Other highlights include a catered buffet and a no-host bar. Musical entertainment will be provided by pianist Donovan Scott.

The Heritage Fair also will feature live and silent auctions, with the proceeds going to help the museum build its next home: a replica of the landmark Northern Pacific Railway Moclips Depot.

The live auction will be conducted by professional auctioneer John Fox. A featured item is a matted and framed Elton Bennett serigraph titled “Sea Birds Cry,” valued at $1,500.

Tickets are $35. For more information, call the Museum at 360-276-4441 or email lee@moclips.org.
