Courtesy photo                                 Baritone Ben Fagerstedt and violinist Kristen Joy Edwards have been chosen by the Grays Harbor Music Teachers Association to perform solos at the Grays Harbor Symphony Orchestra’s spring concert this Sunday at 7 p.m. at the Bishop Center.

The Grays Harbor Symphony Orchestra will present its spring concert Sunday evening at the Bishop Center.

The program, “Musical Promenade,” will include solo performances by two students chosen by the Grays Harbor Music Teachers Association.

Kristen Joy Edwards will play violin, performing the first movement of “Concerto for Violin in A Minor” by Bach. A student at Aberdeen High School, she studies music with Karen Meikle.

Ben Fagerstedt, a baritone, will join the orchestra for the aria “Non piu andrai” from Mozart’s “Marriage of Figaro.” He is a student of Christine Hill.

William Dyer, a member of the Grays Harbor College music faculty, conducts the orchestra.
