Matthew N. Wells / The Daily World The consultants for the city of Aberdeen, David Evans and Associates, Inc. (DEA), gave a presentation on the North Aberdeen Bridge Project to Aberdeen City Council and many of its residents Wednesday night. The project has included numerous meetings with the public and will continue to engage the public as it moves forward. The move forward will not be complete without “brainstorming alternatives,” according to the slideshow from DEA. Many in the community want to preserve the bridge for its connection to the late-Kurt Cobain, but safety seems to be the city’s No. 1 concern with the bridge.
