The Daily World reporter Matthew N. Wells is at one of his favorite places to write, Tinderbox Coffee Roasters in Aberdeen.

Matthew N. Wells, reporter for The Daily World, received recognition for his March 23, 2022, article, “Stolen ceremonial military rifles recovered,” according to Fred Green, State Adjutant/Quartermaster of the Department of Washington Veterans of Foreign Wars of the U.S.

Wells received the national Bronze Award in the category “Best Feature Article” according to Green’s press release.
