Free summer meals for kids 18 and younger in Aberdeen, Hoquiam, Ocosta school districts

The Aberdeen, Hoquiam and Ocosta school districts are offering free meals to everyone age 18 and younger during the summer months.

Aberdeen

Aberdeen School District, city of Aberdeen and YMCA of Grays Harbor summer meals and park and play program, will take place weekdays from June 17 through Aug. 31.

Free lunch will be from 11:30 a.m.-noon at Finch Playfield, North End Park, Wes Peterson Park, and Pioneer Park.

Snacks will be served at the YMCA of Grays Harbor from 1:30-1:45 p.m.

Breakfast and lunch at summer school locations: AJ West, Robert Gray, and Stevens elementary schools, July 6-Aug. 13, breakfast 8:30-8:45 a.m., lunch 12:15-12:30 p.m.

Miller Jr. High, July 6-Aug. 13, breakfast 7:45-8:10 a.m., lunch at 12:15 p.m.

Aberdeen High School, June 17-July 30, breakfast 7:30-7:45 a.m., lunch 11:15-11:45 a.m.

Harbor High School, June 16-July 2, breakfast 7:45-8 a.m., lunch 11:30 a.m.

Hoquiam

Free breakfast and lunch will be served Monday-Friday, from June 17-Aug. 27, to anyone age 18 and younger at these locations:

YMCA of Grays Harbor, 2500 Simpson Ave., 11 a.m.-12:15 p.m.

Rosewood Manor-Woodlawn, 1900 Broadway Ave., 10:30-11 a.m.

Lincoln Elementary, 700 Wood Ave., 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m.

Old district office parking lot, 305 Simpson Ave., 10:30-11 a.m.

Emerson Elementary, 101 Emerson Ave., 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m.

Ocosta

A summer food service program is available for children through Ocosta summer school. Meals are available at no charge to all children age 18 and younger. Grab and go meals will also be available for pick up at the site, Ocosta Elementary School, 2580 S. Montesano St., Westport, Monday-Friday, from July 6-30. Breakfast 8:40-9:30 a.m., lunch 11:40 a.m.-12:45 p.m.
