Blue Slough Road is open for business.

The popular route between Montesano and Cosmopolis had been closed since a massive crack developed in the roadway in late November, caused by torrential rains undercutting the roadway. Rob Wilson, Grays Harbor County engineer, confirmed the road would be reopened by 4 p.m. Monday.

“We are finished with the repairs and are removing the signs to reopen at 4,” he said Monday afternoon.
