Ask the experts about glass floats at Grayland Driftwood Festival

The Westport Maritime Museum will be hosting an “ask the experts” forum on the main stage at the Grayland Community Hall Driftwood Festival Saturday and Sunday. Beachcombing and glass floats experts Alan Rammer (pictured) and Walt Pich will be on the panel. Visitors can learn about beachcombing and Japanese glass fishing floats, and can bring their own finds in to have the experts fill them on their origins. Pich has authored what are considered the definitive guides on glass floats and will have his books available for purchase at the event. (Courtesy Westport Maritime Museum)
