Three quarters of the Gleason family — Parker with his parents Damon and Gina — stand for a photo at Boomers Fireworks. Pierce, Damon’s and Gina’s daughter, also works at the business but wasn’t at the tent Tuesday morning. The Gleasons have run the business in the white tent that sits across from Billy’s Bar and Grill on Heron Street since a well-timed vacation to Harden, Montana. Damon and Gina, with then-infant son Parker, met Matt Elbue, who wowed them with a firework display and soon turned it into a recruitment trip as he got them interested in running their own fireworks business. 20 years later, Boomers Fireworks is going strong and Damon loves working it with his family.
