Suspected shooter sought

Aberdeen Police were dispatched at 11:37 a.m. Thursday to a report of a man pounding the hood of a car in the Wal-Mart parking lot on East Wishkah. Witnesses described a darker colored male with dreadlocks and dressed in black displaying and firing a handgun toward another subject in the north end of the parking lot. The suspect reportedly left the scene in a new blue/gray Volkswagen passenger car in the minute it took police to arrive. The other party also fled, reportedly driving a darker bronze or silver SUV. Aberdeen Police Lieutenant Dale Green is asking anyone with information about this incident and the two vehicles involved to call the police at (360) 533-8765.
