Those responsible for dumping this RV are on the hook for towing costs and any associated cleanup fees.

Last Friday, Hoquiam police officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Broadway for a report of a motorhome being illegally dumped.

Upon arrival, officers contacted two individuals next to a dilapidated RV. Both were identified and advised the vehicle needed to be removed or they could face potential charges.

As of 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, the vehicle had not been removed. Officer Tom Taylor coordinated with No-No’s Towing to have the RV removed from the area.

The individuals identified on Friday will be responsible for the towing costs, any associated cleanup fees, and will face charges for intentionally abandoning a motor vehicle.

“We appreciate the community’s help in reporting issues like this. If you see suspicious activity or illegal dumping, please report it,” the department stated on social media.
