Robert ‘Rob’ Sherwood Anderson

Grayland resident Robert “Rob” Sherwood Anderson passed away at Pacific Care and Rehabilitation Center in Hoquiam on Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2026, after a brief battle with cancer. He was 70 years old.
Rob was born on Jan. 6, 1956, in Aberdeen to parents Robert and Ann (Sherwood) Anderson. He was a graduate of Ocosta High School and worked as a tile setter in the construction industry. He thoroughly enjoyed anything to do with music or the arts. He enjoyed traveling, as well, most notably his working “vacations” in Hawaii. Rob found the most pleasure in his time spent with his cherished family and close friends.
Rob is survived by his brother Timothy (Irma) Anderson of Bandon, Oregon; sister Kristin (Jack) Stein of Westport; niece Sandra (Xavier) Manriquez; and his nephews Jack (Emely) Stein IV and Nicholas (Melissa) Stein.
He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Ann Anderson.
A private family service will be planned later on.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Harrison Family Mortuary.
