Doumit endorses Takko

I fully endorse Senator Dean Takko’s re-election to the Senate. Sen. Takko and I have lived in SW Washington our entire lives. Sen. Takko and I grew up in the same town of Cathlamet.

We both have worked at the local level. I was the County Commissioner and Sen. Takko was the Assessor in Wahkiakum County and Cowlitz county. I knew Sen. Takko to be a person who was respected and did his job well for both counties.

We went on to work together side by side when I was the state senator and he was a state representative for the 19th District, working as a team securing funding for transportation projects and bringing industries to our rural counties in the 19th District. Currently, I work with Sen. Takko in my capacity as the Executive Director of the Washington Forest Protection Association representing private forest landowners. He is a great supporter of the forest product industry. We have worked together keeping jobs in the pulp and paper mill industry.

Sen. Takko has attained millions of dollars for the 19th District since he has been in office. He is an effective leader, he gets along with everyone and most importantly gets things accomplished.

Re-elect Senator Takko.
