Remembering Paul Allen

In conjunction with the nine month remodel of the Aberdeen Timberland Library 2000, The Friends of the Aberdeen Library applied to the Paul Allen Foundation for grant assistance. The Friends were pleased to receive a $50,000 grant from the Paul Allen Foundation. Those funds were used to provide for upgraded lighting in the library.

I suspect the fact that Paul Allen’s mother was a librarian, helped our cause.

Whatever the reason, we were grateful then and now.
