Wildcats 9, Grizzlies JV 3
WESTPORT — Ocosta took advantage of a hand full of errors by the Hoquiam junior varsity and ended the game error free to defeat the Grizzlies in a non-league game at GAR park on Wednesday.
The Wildcats (6-3) played near perfect defense behind strong pitching to earn the win.
“I was really happy with our pitching,” Ocosta head coach Mike Allton said. “We threw a lot of strikes and played a real clean defensive game. It was a great opportunity to get our non-starters some playing time as well.”
Ocosta hosts South Bend on Friday.
