KELSO — Three Rivers Christian’s press defense doomed Wishkah on Tuesday as the Eagles defeated the Loggerettes in the first round of the District IV 1B Tournament at Three Rivers Christian.

The Eagles rolled out to a 15-1 lead after one quarter and the Loggerettes never recovered.

“They pressed us most of the game and changed up the defense and we didn’t handle the ball very well,” Wishkah coach Dave Busz said. “We just didn’t come ready to play tonight.”

Erica Bomhoff led the Loggerettes with five points, while Meggie Sorensen pulled down eight rebounds. Mackenzie Roberts finished with six rebounds and Megan Hill added five rebounds.

The loss ended the Loggerettes season with a record of 8-10.
