RSB (7-2 overall, 4-2 2B Central-North) returned to form with four scoring plays of 30 yards or more.

Tied at 8-apiece at the end of the first quarter, the Ravens took a 22-8 lead at the half after an 8-yard touchdown run by running back Ty Reidinger — his second of the game — and a 5-yard rushing TD by quarterback Austin Snodgrass in the second quarter.

Two Timberwolves touchdowns sandwiched around a 49-yard touchdown run by Ravens running back Ferrill Johnson made it a 28-22 game at the end of the third quarter.

RSB went up 40-22 early in the fourth quarter after a 33-yard scoring run from Johnson followed by Snodgrass hitting receiver Kai Huey with a 57-yard touchdown pass at the 9:00 minute mark.

Leading 40-28, Snodgrass broke loose for a 52-yard run to put RSB up 48-28 approximately halfway through the fourth quarter.

“I thought we came out and started fast like we like to do. I was happy with the way our offense played tonight,” RSB head coach Luke Abbott said. “Defensively, we had a good idea of what they wanted to do but we made some small mistakes that cost us some big plays.”

With the victory, the Ravens locked up the No. 3 seed in the league with the Timberwolves (6-3, 3-3) placing fourth.

The Ravens will play at Kalama Friday in a 2B crossover matchup after losing an opportunity to play at home on a coin flip.
