GH Medical Group offering physicals for local athletes

The Grays Harbor Medical Group is hosting a sports physical day from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 8 at the GHCH STAT Center located at 3003 Cherry Street, Suite 11, Hoquiam.

Cost of the physical is $25 (cash or check only) and no insurance or appointment is necessary.

Harbor Youth Soccer registration opens

Registration is now open for the Harbor Youth Soccer league’s upcoming fall season.

The cost of registration for the league, which consists of multiple divisions for boys and girls ages 5-18, is $70 for 5-7 year-olds and $80 for ages 8 and up.

The league is offering an early registration discount of $10 off the registration fee if registered prior to July 1.

Interested parties can register online at harborsoccer.com or in person at the Grays Harbor YMCA located at 2500 Simpson Avenue, Hoquiam, from 6-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19 and Thursday, June 21.

Players new to the league will need proof of birth date.

Practices are scheduled to begin in late August with games starting after Labor Day.
