Touch tied Chicano kickoff record

Kylan Touch’s 95-yard kickoff return against Elma on Sept. 15 tied the school single-game record set by Alex Chicano against Tumwater in 2007.

Due to a gap in Aberdeen record-keeping, Touch’s return had previously been described as an undisputed school record.

Bobcat JVs beat Monte in soccer

Nancy Tobar scored twice as Aberdeen downed Montesano in a makeup junior varsity girls soccer match Saturday.

Logan Glanz and Emmy Walsh had one goal apiece for the Bobcats while Faith Lindgren and Talisha Clifton were cited for fine play.

Poggies to meet Wednesday

The Grays Harbor Poggie Club has scheduled its regular meeting for 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Hoquiam Elks Hall.
