GHC men’s golf to play in Las Vegas Shootout

The Grays Harbor College men’s golf team will compete in a large National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics event outside of the Pacific Northwest in February.

The Chokers received an invitation from perennial NAIA power Oklahoma City to compete in the 15-team Las Vegas Shootout at the Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada Feb. 21-22.

“This is something I have wanted to do for GHC Golf ever since I started coaching here,” Chokers head coach Ann Swanson said. “We are very thankful to all the people who have donated and supported us in our fundraising events the past few years to make this possible. I also hope it will help with recruiting.”
