Raymond-South Bend’s season ended with a 2-1 loss in the first round of the 2B District 4 Tournament on Monday in Adna.

The Ravens (7-6-2 overall) trailed 2-0 at halftime after the Pirates (8-6-3) scored a goal on a Bailey Naillon shot in the 29th minute and doubled its lead on a Lilly Wellander penalty kick just before halftime.

RSB responded just after the start of the second half when junior forward Jaylee Capps scored off a feed from sophomore forward Mary Loza in the 41st minute to cut the deficit to 2-1.

Raymond-South Bend had a golden opportunity to tie the game in the 65th minute with a penalty kick, but Adna keeper Jordanne Moon made the save to preserve the Pirates’ 2-1 lead.
