North Beach and Montesano’s C Sqaud softball teams took to the turf at Rottle Field on Wednesday evening and got their work in to finish with a 14-14 tie after three innings in a non-league contest.

Jessy Garman led the Hyaks with three hits, including a home run and a double. Adelina Desamours, Helen Garman and Mikaila Mackey each had two hits and two RBI.

Aaliyah Newton threw a two-hitter in the circle, but walked 13 batters. Talor Salazar took the loss for Montesano, which scored the majority of its runs on passed balls.

Erica Averez led the Bulldogs with a two-run single in the third inning.

Today, North Beach (1-2) will host South Bend in a Pacific 2B League doubleheader.
