Local youth gymnastics team wins at regional title meet

Zero Gravity collects 23 first-place finishes at Washington-Oregon regional championships

A Twin Harbors-based youth gymnastics team brought home plenty of hardware after competing at two regional events recently.

Zero Gravity, a USA Gymnsatics certified tumbling and trampoline program out of Montesano, competed at the 2021 Washington and Oregon State Championships in Montesano on April 24 followed by a trip to Las Vegas, Nevada for the 2021 Western States Regional Championships May 6-8.

Zero Gravity, which is helmed by owner/coach Sheri Lovell, had a banner day ot the Washington and Oregon state championship meet in April, collecting 51 top three finishes, including 23 first-place nods.

Nine Zero Gravity athletes qualified for the USA Gymnastics Tumbling and Trampoline Nationals coming up in June and July.
