EATONVILLE — Class 2A Eatonville controlled play throughout in beating Elma in a non-leaguer season opener.
“They were a good, solid team,” Elma head coach Ron Clark said. “There were a lot of nerves tonight.”
Elma’s lone touchdown came at the end of the fourth quarter. Details were unavailable.
“It was a great learning experience and we just have to learn how to be football players, and we will,” Clark said.
Elma (0-1) will host White Salmon on Friday.
