Don Scott Memorial Grays Harbor Pro-Am golf tournament this weekend

At GraysHarbor Country Club

Newly crowned Northwest Open champion Shane Prante leads the field for the Don Scott Memorial Grays Harbor Pro-Am golf tournament this weekend at Grays Harbor Country Club.

The tournament is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, with shotgun starts at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. It has been renamed this year in memory of the late Don Scott, the country club’s former general manager and three-time Pro-Am champion who died late last year.

Prante, a Spanaway pro whose parents are Elma High School graduates, won the 2014 Pro-Am and was runner-up last year. He captured the Northwest Open earlier this week.

Defending champion Lance Satcher of Kelso, former champions Kris Runge, Jerry Johnson and Mark Olson, host pro Brian Davis and recent Hoquiam High grad John Sand are among the other headliners in the field.
