Taholah’s Denise Dolan and Oakville’s Devin Boyd were voted Coastal 1B League most valuable players during the league coaches’ meeting this week.

Dolan shared the MVP honors with Mary M. Knight’s Kaylee Sowle after voting by most of the league’s coaches for the all-league teams. Taholah’s Nettie Grover was also picked for the first team.

In the boys voting, Boyd edged out Taholah’s Zach Cain, while Brett Orozco also earned first-team honors.

Naselle’s Rose Nisbet and Taholah’s Mike Rose were selected as Coaches of the Year, while North River’s boys and girls were honored with the league’s sportsmanship awards.
