Elma and Montesano found plenty of offense on Monday as we review boys prep soccer games on the Harbor.

Elma had three players record a hat trick in a 13-0 thrashing over Ilwaco on Monday at Elma High School.

The Eagles (8-5, 7-3 1A Evergreen) scored five goals in the first half, three from Cason Seaberg as the senior forward had hat trick by halftime.

Seaberg repeated the feat with three goals in the second half.

Elma senior midfielder Jose Perez and junior forward/midfielder Ivan Torres each had three goals in the game, with Perez adding two assists to his impressive stat line.

Elma hosts Hoquiam at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.

Montesano 9, Forks 0

Montesano had more than enough offense in a 9-0 win over Forks on Monday in Montesano.

The Bulldogs (9-3, 9-1 1A Evergreen) scored four goals in the first half from four different players.

Jules Desjour opened the scoring with a goal off a corner kick in the sixth minute followed two minutes later by forward Felix Romero for a quick 2-0 advantage.

Romero would assist on a goal by Levi Clements in the 27th minute and the Bulldogs would take a 4-0 lead into the half when sophomore midfielder Andrew Melendez scored in the 33rd minute.

Goals by Romero in the 41st minute and Connor Fargo in the 43rd minute put the Dogs up 6-0.

A Forks (2-8, 2-8) helped Monte out with an own-goal in the 46th minute.

Sophomore midfielder Cris Tobar scored in the 62nd minute and Romero completed a hat trick with a goal in the 65th minute to close out the scoring.

Monte had 24 shots in the game, 17 on target.

The Bulldogs take on Tenino at 6 p.m. Wednesday in Tenino.

Hoquiam was on the wrong side of a lone goal in a 1-0 loss to Eatonville on Monday in Eatonville.

The Cruisers (8-4, 8-2 1A Evergreen) scored the only goal of the game when senior striker Owen Van Eaton headed one into the back of the net in the 20th minute.

“The whole game was consistently back and forth. We fought hard the entire game,” Hoquiam head coach Corri Schmid said. “I’m proud of the team. They never gave up and kept fighting for the win. We just didn’t couldn’t finish. It was a very tough game to lose.”

Schmid cited the performances of Hoquiam’s Jose Fabian and Michael Garcia for their “hard work on the field.”

Hoquiam plays at Elma at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
