Black Hills girls show their pedigree in win over Aberdeen

Black Hills showed exactly why it is ranked first in the state media poll with a 69-14 victory over Aberdeen at Sam Benn Gym on Wednesday.

The Wolves dominated the boards, rolled out to a 15-point lead after one quarter and led 39-7 at halftime.

“We just had a difficult matchup and we couldn’t find a way to make shots,” Aberdeen head coach Jeff Niemi said. “We turned it over 13 times in the first half and they outrebounded us.”

Reagan Glanz scored eight points to lead the Bobcats.

Black Hills had three players finish in double figures, with Emma Duff scoring 16 points.

Aberdeen (1-4, 6-8) travels to Chehalis on Friday.
