After leading the Aberdeen Bobcats in scoring this season, senior guard Angel Baltazar was named to the first team when the 2A Evergreen League announced its all-league squads.
Baltazar scored in double digits for Aberdeen seven times this season, including a team-high 23 points and a game-winning buzzer beater in the Bobcats’ 47-44 upset victory over WF West on May 31. The senior point guard exhibited a dynamic scoring ability in 2021, scoring 22 points with eight rebounds against Black Hills on May 12 and 18 points against Tumwater on May 26.
Baltazar was joined on the all-league list by teammates Jayden Watson and Kaiden Seibert, each of whom were named as honorable mentions.
