The Grays Harbor ORV Park in McCleary will host its largest motocross racing event ever over the next three days.
At the ORV park this weekend will be the Top Gun Team Shootout, sponsored by Pacific Racing Organization (P.R.O). Spectators are invited to to show out to the park for a weekend of racing, with spectating made easier with covered grandstands, concessions and easily accessible parking.
Races all weekend begin at 8 a.m. and run through 5 p.m. Opening ceremonies begin at 11 a.m. Saturday. A flyover will be conducted by the U.S. Air Force which is celebrating their 70th birthday. Attendees are encouraged to arrive by 10 a.m. and camping for those attending the event will also be permitted.
8 p.m. Sept. 2 will see the local band Ready or Not perform on stage at the P.R.O. moto-pit.
Following races on Sunday, Top Gun Thor Tug of War will take to the track.
The cost for a single-day ticket is $15, while three-day passes are available for $30. Admission is free for kids ages 7 and under.
The park will only be open this weekend for the event, meaning the trails and kid’s track will be closed.
