Montesano resident Wilma Juanita Line passed away at Harbor Regional Health in Aberdeen on May 24, 2025. She was 81 years old.
Wilma was born on Jan. 16, 1944, in Fullerton, California, to parents James De Loren Line and Wilma Grace (Smith) Line. She was a graduate of The Dalles High School in Oregon and relocated to the Grays Harbor area in 1977, where she attended Grays Harbor College. Later, she worked with Harbor Alternate Living Association as a caregiver and provided transportation for the patients.
She was also a loving stay-at-home mother for 66 wonderful years. She was a member of the Lutheran Church and was a big supporter of the Brady Grange. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, board games, card games, garage sales, thrift stores, and bowling at Monte Lanes. She was also well known for being an expert family event planner and proud, specialized gift giver.
Wilma is survived by her sons, Jeffery Purcell of Shelton, Washington; Delbert Purcell of Sacramento, California; John (Jack) Robarge of Kelso, Washington; and James (Jamie) Robarge of Aberdeen, Washington; daughter, Marianna Everson of Montesano, Washington; brother, Jack Line of Clatskanie, Oregon; and other family members , including Cindy Webb, Randy Hatch, Don Webb, Steve Hatch, Elizabeth Hatch, Lisa Hatch, Jim Line, Bobby Line, David Line, Doris Werkman, Pat Adongo, and Gene Smith; as well as 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild on the way.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Wilma Line; former husbands, Delbert Purcell and John Robarge; and sister Mary Ann Hatch of Hurricane, Vermont.
No services have been planned at this time.
