Wayne Alan Park passed away at home in Elma, Washington on April 9, 2021, from an extended illness with his daughter Sally and his life partner Terri by his side.

Wayne was born in Bellingham, Washington on Feb. 10, 1948 to Clinton and Audrey Park. His son Christopher Alan Park and his parents both preceded him in death.

He is survived by his daughter Sally Jane Hautala, life partner Terri Norris, brother Marvin Park (Carol), sisters: Wanda Dagnen (Gary) and Virginia Sanders (Tom); grandchildren: Carter Whipple, Kady Hautala and Sarah Hautala; and numerous nieces and nephews. He had a special Aunt Pat in his life.

Wayne went to schools in Bellingham and Elma. He graduated from Elma High in 1966. He went on to become an auto mechanic, which was his profession until he retired in 2011. Wayne’s passions were spending time with his family, fishing and more fishing, clam digging, camping, wood working and playing pinochle with friends and family. He loved going clam digging and charter fishing with his grandchildren and daughter.

A memorial service will be planned for the future.
