Vince Preinesberger passed away, peacefully in his sleep, at home on Feb. 5, 2022.

12/23/1925 — 2/5/2022

Vince Preinesberger passed away, peacefully in his sleep, at home on Feb. 5, 2022 (two days shy of the anniversary of his wife, Inge’s, death in 2014).

Vince was born in Deutsch-Mokra, a German community in Hungary to Stephen and Maria Preinesberger.

He married Inge Volk on Aug. 4, 1951, in Wildbad, Germany. They were baptized as Jehovah’s Witnesses on Nov. 22, 1952, in Badenbaden, Germany and emigrated to the USA in April 1953 and settled in Raymond, Washington.

Vince worked at Weyerhaeuser for 35 years.

Vince loved world history, especially as it related to the Bible. As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, he zealously pursued spiritual goals and loved to talk to all his neighbors, in the door-to-door ministry, about God’s Kingdom. He was especially proud to have attended the historic Divine Will International Assembly of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1958 at Yankee Stadium in New York.

Vince is survived by sons, Vincent Jr., Joe and Michael Preinesberger, as well as six grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.

There will be a Zoom memorial at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022. Those who would like to attend can call 360-942-3192 for instructions.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Worldwide Work of Jehovah’s Witnesses via jw.org under “Donation.”
