Douglas Crawford Rice of Montesano died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2024, at Summit Pacific Medical Center in Elma. He was 94.

Mary May Drake, an 89-year-old resident of Aberdeen, died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2024, at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia.

Marc E. Remaley

Aberdeen resident Marc Edward Remaley died Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024, at home. He was 54.

He had been a dishwasher at Duffy’s Restaurant.

There will be no services. Cremation arrangements are by Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.

Christine Vincent

Christine Vincent, 63, a resident of Hoquiam, died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2024, at home.

She had worked as a linguist, translator and freelance writer.

A vigil will begin at the family home on Thursday afternoon, Jan. 25 and continue until Friday at 10 a.m. The vigil will recommence at St. George Byzantine Catholic Church in Olympia at 6 p.m. Friday followed by a funeral liturgy on Saturday at 1p.m. There will be an interment at the Duchovny Dom Monastery Cemetery in Weston, Oregon at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 29. Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
