Vera Lee Wyninger, age 81 of Hogan’s Corner, Hoquiam, Washington, passed away on Sept. 5, 2021.

Vera Lee Wyninger, age 81 of Hogan’s Corner, Hoquiam, Washington, passed away on Sept. 5, 2021 with her husband and daughter at her side.

Vera was born in Aberdeen, Washington to Hazel and George Hale on May 7, 1940. She married Richard Wyninger on Dec. 1, 1990, at the Lutheran Church in Aberdeen, Washington. She worked with her husband at their business, NW Grinding Co. for 30 years.

She loved gardening and landscaping on their 10 acres of land next to the Copalis River. She loved fishing on their boat at Westport for salmon with her husband and brother. She also loved dancing, hiking Colonel Bob’s trail and picnics at all the lakes.

Vera was preceded in death by her sister Shirley Raffelson, George Hale and her German shepherd dog Max.

Vera is survived by her husband Richard Wyninger, daughters: Cherié Rogers, Kim Newell and Maureen Rosander; grandchildren: Paul and Angela Alkire, Jason Abear and Michael Gay; nieces: Rayline Theisen, Tammra Ells, Theresa Smith; and nephews: Ed Springer, Jerry Greenland and Christopher Hale.
