Thomas V. Jackson, a resident of Aberdeen, passed away Nov. 17, 2024, in Surprise, Arizona after a brief battle with cancer.
Tom was born Aug. 17, 1959, to Mary (McCarty) and Clarence Jackson. He graduated from Aberdeen High School in 1978.
He had worked at Frank Silvan Construction and was the owner of Blues Bros Hot Tubs and Tom Jackson Construction.
Tom enjoyed fishing, boating, home building, fine woodworking and volunteering at Camp Bishop. He donated to Push Rods of Hoquiam and Aberdeen High School Music Boosters
He and Cathy Proctor were married on May 19, 1984.
Tom is survived by his wife Cathy, son Thomas M. Jackson (LueRonica Haider) of Bellingham, daughters Cassie (Marshall) Lentz of Aberdeen and Hollie Jackson of Monterey, California, sisters Pat Tuininga of Yelm, and Deanna Jackson of Palm Desert, and grandchildren LueKaylynn and LueAhyna Jackson, and Ellery and Romy Lentz. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, brother Denny Jackson and sister Linda Jackson.
A celebration of his life will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 4, 2024, at Camp Bishop.
The family suggest memorials in Tom’s name be made to Camp Bishop/Aberdeen YMCA.
