Terry Lee Jacobs died July 13, 2021.

Terry was born April 10, 1948 in Barberton, Ohio but moved in 1953 to Sacramento, California, where he grew up.

While in elementary school he volunteered at the Sacramento Zoo and the Junior Museum. He was involved in the behind-the-scenes work of caring for animals. From early in life he could truly engage with animals, both pets and wild animals, in a really unique and special way.

In high school he was a football, swimming and track standout.

Following high school he joined the military and served with a small unit of Interservice Intelligence during the Vietnam War.

He drove long haul truck for most of his work life and served as master of the Nooksack Masonic Lodge in 1993.

He is survived by wife, Fae, daughters, Dawn and Christina, and seven grandchildren. A son, Jon, preceded him in death.
