Terrence D. Ogren

Terrence D. Ogren, a devoted husband and lifelong resident of Aberdeen, Washington, passed peacefully amongst family and friends at his home on Aug. 31, 2021. Terry is survived by his loving wife, Gayle J. Ogren (Sherwood), his brothers Jim Ogren and Mitchell “Mick” Ogren, and several nieces and nephews.

Terry was born on Aug. 15, 1945 to Ernie and Olga Ogren in Ewen, Michigan. He served in the U.S. Army and was a proud Vietnam veteran. Terry worked at several businesses in the Aberdeen area. When he was 60 years old, Terry successfully completed his coursework and training at Grays Harbor College and finished his working career as a nurse, providing care for others.

Terry was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed spending his time fishing, hunting and hiking in the outdoors. He and Gayle have fond memories on their sailboat in the Puget Sound and at many of the local campgrounds in their travel trailer.
