Shirley Patricia “Pat” Davis passed away on May 26, 2018, at the age of 94, during a brief stay at the Montesano Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Everett, Wash. on Aug. 8, 1923, to parents Henry Eldon King and Myrtle L. (Shauf) King and was raised primarily by a loving and caring grandmother, Bertha Shauf.
Pat graduated from Everett High School in 1943 and married Oliver Davis that same year. Together they raised a family during Oliver’s 20 years of service in the USAF and nearly 18 years of work at the Weyerhaeuser Sawmill starting in 1963. Oliver passed away in 2003.
Pat was an avid bowler and for 35 years, she bowled in both the Aberdeen’s Early Bird and Starlite Leagues.
She leaves behind two sons Edward (wife Caroline) and Robert; two grandchildren Tod Davis and Sonia Agostenilli; two great-grandchildren Kayla and Sophia Agostinelli; half-sister Rose Sarah Tuttle; a nephew Sean Tuttle; a niece Sarah Tuttle; two step-grandchildren James Cavaciuti and Dawn Truskauskas and three step-great-grandchildren Dylan Cavaciuti and Taylor and Matthew Truskauskas.
Pat’s remains will be laid with those of her husband’s in eternal rest at the Montesano Wynoochee Cemetery. No funeral or burial services will be held.
In honor of Pat’s love for animals, donations in her memory are requested to be given to Paws in Aberdeen.
