Lifelong Aberdeen resident Shirley Loretta Brunstad Rajcich passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, Aug. 12,

2024. She was 88.

Shirley was born February 27, 1936 in Aberdeen, Washington to Sam and Edith (Liukko) Brunstad. Shirley graduated from J.M. Weatherwax High School class of 1954. In 1956 Shirley married William Rajcich. He passed away in 1997.

Shirley is survived by her children, Mike, Bill, Don (Brenda), Tom (Neda), John and Patty Rajcich; 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; and her special group of friends from the class of ’54.

In addition to her husband Bill she was also preceded in death by son Bob Rajcich in 1996; daughter Susan Rajcich in 1965; two sisters Gloria (Brunstad) Irwin and Diane (Brunstad) Balderston; and lifelong friend and companion Bob Lawson.

A private graveside service will take place at Fern Hill Cemetery.
