Shirley June Causey “June,” 60, was an Aberdeen resident and co-owner of Rock Ele, Construction LLC.

June passed on Feb. 14,2021, at her home with her family by her side.

June was born in Chattanooga Tennessee, to Edwin and Shirley June (Morgan) Howard.

At the age of 10, her family moved to Hoquiam, Washington. For several years they would go back to Trenton, Georgia and then return the Aberdeen-Hoquiam area. She attended Hoquiam High School.

On Aug. 7,1981, June married Thomas Ken Causey in Hoquiam. He resides at the family home in Aberdeen.

For the last 37 years, June and Tom have been the owners of Rock Ele. Construction LLC in Aberdeen Wa. June was the office manager and bookkeeper.

June was one of the founding members of Central Park Neighborhood Church and the children’s pastor for the last 32 years. Kids Praise was the highlight of her work at the church, always loving the kids as her own. She was a member of the Harbor Faith Riders motorcycle ministries. June love riding and praying for those on the rides. She enjoyed crafts and making projects with her grandkids.

June is survived by her husband of 39 years, Thomas Ken Causey; two sons: Thomas Elijah Causey of Hoquiam and Christopher Robert Causey of Aberdeen; two daughters: Holly Renee (Causey) Boyer

of Aberdeen and Alicia Ann Miller of Ohio; two brothers: Raymond Howard of Tennessee and

Edwin Howard of Tacoma, Washington, a sister Peggy Root of Aberdeen, 17 grandchildren; and many adopted children and grandchildren.

There will be a service to celebrate her life at Central Park Neighborhood Church, 7010 Bryrwood Drive, Aberdeen on Saturday, March 13, 2021, at 2 p.m.

Donations are suggested to CPNC Kids Praise Ministry.

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.
