Sherri Lee Doyle, 56, Hoquiam resident and private in-home care provider, died Monday, Nov. 21, 2016, at her home in Hoquiam.

Sherri was born on Sept. 27, 1960, in Portland, Ore., to Gary O. and Margaret Alice (Berry) Parker. She lived in Seattle until the age of 5 when the family moved to San Jose, Calif. When she was 17, she moved to Grayland to be with her grandma. She graduated from Ocosta High School in 1978 and then attended Grays Harbor Community College to study forestry.

On Sept. 27, 1981, Sherri married Daniel E. Doyle in Westport, Wash. They were married for 35 years. Sherri enjoyed collecting albums and listening to music and had a green thumb growing orchids, dahlias and contributing to a family garden. She was a very loyal and caring person.

Sherri is survived by her husband of 35 years, Daniel Doyle of Hoquiam; daughters: Sarah (Ryan) Johnson of Federal Way, Wash. and Cassandria Doyle of Hoquiam, Wash.; her father, Gary O. Parker of Woodberry, Tenn.; a brother George Parker of Maine; sisters Leslie (Joseph) Medeiros of Boston, Mass. and Tina (Randy) Rood of Bonney Lake, Wash.

There will be a celebration of Sherri’s life on Saturday, Dec. 3, at 1 p.m. at the Aberdeen Elks Lodge.
