On Aug. 18, 2021 Shaquille passed away unexpectedly, leaving all who knew him heartbroken. Music and rapping was a huge part of Shaquille’s world, that he shared with family and friends. He also loved playing video games with his nephews and friends, and was an online gamer. Shaq loved playing football in his high school years and being a part of the South Bend High School championship team.

Shaquille was preceded in death by his dad, Gail Wixson, his grandfathers, Jim Strozyk, and Steve Acrey; and his uncle Shawn Clearwater.

He is survived by his mother Tina Wixson, his brother J. Kali Garcia (Leslie), nephews Manny and Isaac; brother R. Styles Acrey, niece Aurora; his stepbrothers and stepsisters Mylo, Aleana, Rachel (Dan), and Jessica; nieces and nephews Daden, Riley, Austin, Isabel, Sophia and Judah. He is also survived by grandmother Carol Strozyk, his aunt Mia, Marti (Shawn and Seth) and Meribeth Clearwater and Sloan; uncles Kevin Shipman (Elvira) and Duan (Tabitha) and several cousins. He is also survived by father Anthony Acrey (Dawn) Tia, Amanda, Keegan Bretz, Terrance, Liam, Elizabeth and Cassandra; nieces Saniyah and Skyla and Aunt Cindy. Extended family include Aunt Peggy, Uncle Ron, Mikki, Christopher, Raquelle (Jaida) and Ronnie Lee and Omi.

Shaquille had many close friends and was a part of each one of their families, for family is not defined by blood, but by unconditional love and mutual respect for one another. He was always willing and eager to help anyone that asked or needed it.

For those of you that supported Shaquille through the trials and adventures in his life, thank you all for being a part of our tribe that walked with us through his journey on earth. We were so blessed by his big heart and a smile that will never be forgotten.

A celebration of life will be held at the South Bend School football field, 3 p.m. Sept. 11, with a potluck following in the school cafeteria.

Arrangements are in care of Stoller’s Mortuary in Raymond, Washington. You may visit www.StollersMortuary.com to leave condolences for the family.
