Sandra L. Smith

Lifelong Aberdeen, Wash., resident Sandra L. Smith, 78, passed away Nov. 9, 2018. She was born June 17, 1940, to William and Grace M. (Blackwell) McWillis in Aberdeen. She graduated from Hoquiam High School, was a homemaker and loved to dance.
Sandra was a very social butterfly, strong-willed and independent. She always wanted to help people and volunteered at the local food bank. She was a member of the Hoquiam Elks, Aberdeen Eagles and Aberdeen Avenue Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Fred D. Jarman of Adna, Wash.; daughters, Nancy R. Bishop of Hoquiam, and Cindy R. Whisler of Aberdeen; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brothers, Kenneth Blackwell and Bobby Blackwell; and sisters, Donna Blackwell and Lisa Blackwell. She was predeceased by her parents, and grandmother, Etheyl Bray.
