Sept. 6, 1957 — Nov. 8, 2021

The world has lost a truly beautiful and loving soul. We mourn her loss but celebrate the life of Ruth Ann (Meaux) Milner that passed from this life on Monday, Nov. 8, 2021, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital.

Ruth was born and raised in Kaplan, Louisiana but moved to Cosmopolis, Washington about 30 years ago. She was retired and enjoyed gardening with her husband, traveling back to Louisiana to see family and friends, and eating crawfish and shrimp and okra gumbo. She liked to travel down the coast and loved spending time with her two sons and their families as often as she could.

Left to mourn her loss is her husband, Craig A. Milner; her sons, Scott (Julia) and William (Billy) Milner, both of Vancouver Washington; and her four grandchildren: Rebekah, Layne, Evan and Ethan. Her family back in Louisiana include her mother Audrey B. (Meaux) Simon, sister Linda M. (David) Stelly, and brothers, Roy, Russell and Dale Meaux. Also left to mourn her loss are many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, co-workers, friends and classmates.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wiley P. Meaux, maternal grandparents Frank and Eve Broussard, paternal grandparents Wilson and Laura Meaux, and her in-laws, William “Bill” and Ellen Milner.

In memory of Ruth, the family asked that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation to help cure the terrible disease that stole her away from us way to soon!
